A age positive charity that provides services in hospitals such as giving visitors a place to buy refreshments and gifts, has generously given the hospital trust a large donation.

The charity WRVS has given a gift of £217,000 to the Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust so that they can purchase new equipment for patients.

The money from the WRVS is from their profits over the last few years from the services they offer in a number of hospitals.
